Another version of the original Aragorn/Arwen kiss at the coronation

The first one (click!) might’ve been for Aragorn while this one was for Arwen’s shot (after Liv almost panicked at having to end her principal photography shooting with kissing Viggo’s double - lol the poor man, wonder how he felt).

Please note that both (original) kisses were from the documentary/bts camera/footage. Considering how much they rushed for this kissing scene, fortunately they got to spend hours on it at pick-ups.

The original Aragorn/Arwen kiss at Aragorn’s coronation

The Aragorn/Arwen reunion scene was shot very quickly and Viggo was whisked off to another location for another shoot so Liv was supposed to kiss his double… But it was also Liv’s final scene of the principal photography and she wanted Viggo with her. Fortunately the crew listened and Viggo was brought back and this was the result.

… In the end this kiss will be judged “boring” and re-shot during pickups a few years later. XD
